South Brunswick To Collect Unused, Expired Prescription Drugs

Residents can rid their medicine cabinets of unused and expired prescription medication this Saturday.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Residents of South Brunswick can now safely dispose unused prescription drugs this weekend. The ‘Operation Takeback NJ’ event is scheduled on Oct. 24.

Oct. 24 is National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, that aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible method for disposing of unneeded and expired prescription pills.

South Brunswick residents can dispose unused or expired medication either in its original container or by removing them from containers and disposing directly into the drug disposal box.
