South Brunswick Cooling Centers Open Thursday

Breaking: Heat index values will be from 100 to 105 degrees in southeast Pennsylvania and Central New Jersey Thursday.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — It's hot out there!

The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory Thursday from noon to 7 p.m. The South Brunswick Office of Emergency Management advises that two cooling locations are open for residents, at the South Brunswick Library (110 Kingston Lane) and the South Brunswick Senior Center (540 Ridge Road).

The hours for the library are from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Senior Center will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Heat index values Thursday will be from 100 to 105 degrees in southeast Pennsylvania and Central New Jersey. Avoid being outside and spending time in the direct sunlight. Drink plenty of water and check on senior neighbors and relatives.
