South Brunswick Curbside Brush Collection Announced
One of two yearly curbside brush collections will be held in May.

Brush is a material that is mandated for recycling. This means that it is not permitted in the landfill and therefore cannot be collected with the garbage.
Twice per year the township will pick up brush curbside through a contract with Midco Waste. Residents wishing to take advantage of the spring curbside collection must have material at the curb by 6:30 a.m. on May 14 in order to ensure collection.
Items that will be picked up include brush, branches, shrubs, bushes that are less than 4 feet in length and less than 5 inches in diameter. They must be securely tied in bundles less than 50 pounds.

Bundles should be placed curbside, and not in the street. Twigs and small branches that are less than 4 feet may be placed in a can. No bags will be accepted.
Residents choosing the delivery option for recycling may drop off brush (less than 5" in diameter) at the convenience center located behind on East New Road.
