"Outstanding service to our town is a hallmark of our police, fire and rescue squads. In recent weeks, several instances have taken place that added to their already significant workload. Each time, our volunteer and professional first responders proved why they are a critically important part of making South Brunswick a strong community."

"My colleagues on the Township Council and I thank each of them not only for their recent responses, but also for their service to our town throughout the years," Mayor Carley continued. "We also urge residents to remember the sacrifices that emergency service personnel make on our behalf every day by supporting their annual fund drives. And for those who wish to get more involved in our community, contact them to see how they too, can help serve our neighbors by participating in volunteer opportunities."
