If 2012 goes as well as 2011, this is going to be one heck of a season for the South Brunswick High School girls bowling team.
South Brunswick finished the 2011 portion of its schedule with a record of 7-0-1. South Brunswick also won the Old Bridge/Carteret Baker Invitational.
Baker bowling is a measure of team strength. Each bowler only competes in two frames a game.

"Baker is so different, I wasn't sure how we would do," South Brunswick Coach Tara Burniston said. "If you start to struggle, you don't get that chance to find the groove. Fortunately, it was probably the best showing we have ever had in a Baker Tournament. It was nice to see that."
South Brunswick's most recent win was 4-0 against Sayreville on Dec. 21.
