19th Annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony In South Brunswick
The event is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 5 at 5 p.m. Watch the tree lighting ceremony with hot chocolate and cookies.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Let the holiday celebrations begin. The 19th annual holiday lighting ceremony will be held on Sunday, Dec. 5 at 5 p.m., near La Taverna. The event is being sponsored by The Dayton Village Citizens Coalition and South Brunswick Garden Club.
There are a host of events planned for the evening. At 4:15 p.m., enjoy holiday music in the patio area next to La Taverna, 375 George’s Road, Dayton. A surprise guest is expected from the North Pole accompanied by special treats at 4:45 p.m.
Tree lighting will be held at 5 p.m., and then hot chocolate and cookies will be distributed from 5:10 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The South Brunswick Food Pantry will also be accepting donations during the event. You can bring non-perishable food items for donation to those in need.
