South Brunswick July 4 Fireworks For 2017
South Brunswick's Fourth of July fireworks will be held on Friday night, June 30 this year.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — South Brunswick's Fourth of July fireworks will be held on Friday, June 30 this year, the Township confirmed to Patch. On that day, South Brunswick will host its "Independence Day Celebration with Fireworks Show," which is free and open to all.
It will be held at Crossroads South Middle School. The program begins at 6:00 p.m. and the fireworks begin at 9:15 p.m. There will be a DJ, music and food vendors. "The Time Machine," an 18-piece band will be playing music from the 1960s through the present.
This free event will have live music, food vendors, and fireworks. This year will again see the return of the "The Time Machine," an 18-piece band that will be playing music from the 1960s through the present. The event is annually one of the largest Township sponsored gatherings.

The celebration will take place from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.on the fields of Crossroads Middle School. The school is located on the corner of Major Road and Kingston Lane.
South Brunswick Police are advising residents that there will be increased traffic in and around the school and surrounding neighborhoods. The streets of Major Road, Kingston Lane and Georges Road will have increased pedestrian and vehicular traffic.

Officers will be stationed in and around the event to assist with traffic issues. There will be no parking allowed on Major Road near the school. Police anticipate the greatest volume of traffic between 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.
