South Brunswick Man, 70, Hit By Car On Beekman Road Sunday Night
A 70-year-old man was seriously injured after he was hit by a car Sunday night on Beekman at Dickinson roads in South Brunswick.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — A 70-year-old man was seriously injured after he was hit by a car Sunday night on Beekman Road.
The man, a South Brunswick resident, suffered head, leg and internal injuries and was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, where he was in serious condition. He was released from the hospital Wednesday and is recovering at home.
Beekman Road was closed for four hours as a result of the investigation Sunday night: The man was hit just after 7:30 p.m. Police received several 911 calls of a pedestrian struck on Beekman Road at Dickinson Road. Officers arrived and found the man lying in the road. He had been walking across Beekman Road when he was struck by 2010 BMW, which was headed westbound. The 55-year-old driver stopped at the scene.
