South Brunswick Man Fatally Stabbed by Girlfriend in Trenton, Police Charge
BREAKING: The stabbing happened Monday afternoon. Christopher Johnson, 35, of South Brunswick was found DOA and his girlfriend was charged.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - A Trenton woman has been charged with stabbing her boyfriend, a 35-year-old South Brunswick man, to death Monday night, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo Onofri said.
Briann Lindsey, 25, of Clearfield Avenue, is charged with murder, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon.
At approximately 4:15 p.m. Monday, Trenton police responded to a 911 call for a man stabbed on the 300 block of Clearfield Avenue. Officers arrived and found the victim, 35-year-old Christopher Johnson of South Brunswick, inside the apartment along with his girlfriend, Lindsey. Trenton EMS arrived as well, but Johnson was pronounced dead on arrival a short time later.

An investigation revealed that Johnson was stabbed in the kitchen area of the home and collapsed in the hallway. The investigation also revealed that Lindsey attempted to clean up the crime scene prior to police arrival, police said. The Mercer County Homicide Task Force is investigating.
