Why are you seeking this office?
I believe I can make a difference in South Brunswick by working to assure that it is a good place to live and raise a family.

The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ___, and this is what I intend to do about it.
There is no single most pressing issue. There are many issues. Our administration continues to fight court-mandated overdevelopment, we continue to improve roadways, we continue to add to our recreational infrastructure - among others.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?Competence. I have served our town effectively over many years. The municipal part of government performs well - we enjoy a high level of professionalism from our Police, our Public Works plow the snow and maintain the roads well, we provide a superior solid-waste management program to all residents. I am proud of my contributions to the municipal government over the years.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
I have been going door-to-door and attending very many community events, as always. I am always informed and motivated by the concerns expressed by my neighbors and friends.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I believe that I have served the town well and faithfully over the past 25 years. Over that span, I have been part of a team that has worked successfully to assure that South Brunswick is a great place to live, work, and raise a family.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
"You have two ears & two eyes and only one mouth for a reason. Listen, Look, Learn."

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I, and my colleagues in town hall, have always made ourselves accessible. If there is anything I can help with, your readers should not hesitate to contact me at ccarley@sbtnj.net
