South Brunswick Opens Warming Centers To Escape Bitter Cold
If you or your neighbors are in need of heat, please come to the South Brunswick library, or police headquarters at 540 Ridge Rd.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — With the bitter cold expected to last through the middle of next week, South Brunswick announced Friday they are opening two warming centers: At the police department (540 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction) and the South Brunswick Public Library (110 Kingston Lane).
The South Brunswick Library will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday December 30. The library will be closed New Year's Eve, Sunday December 31 and New Year's Day, Monday January 1, 2018. The library has Internet -eady computers, thousands of books and numerous charging outlets. There will be staff on hand to assist.
Residents utilizing the South Brunswick Police Department as a warming center can enter through the front lobby, which is open 24 hours a day. This warming center will remain open as needed to provide residents a place to warm up and get out of the cold.
