South Brunswick Parent Academy Workshop Tonight

First workshop of the school year focuses on informational and digital skills.

The first workshop of the school year, SALT and PEPPER:  Informational and Digital Skills for the 21st Century, will be held on Thursday, Sept. 13th in the Crossroads North Middle School Cafeteria from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

This compelling parent workshop will provide attendees with insight as to the necessary SALT (Skills, Awareness, Literacies and Traits) children will need for success in life and careers in the 21st century. In addition, information will be given on how to add some spice to children’s learning through some well-chosen PEPPER (Purposeful, Enriching, Planful, Practical, Engaging and Reflective) technology resources.

Participants will leave this timely workshop with ideas and tips for spicing up their children's learning experiences while readying them for college and career.
SBPA workshops continue on Saturday, September 22nd with the SBPA’s third-annual Saturday workshop: "Creative and Innovative Thinking for the 21st Century," presented by Nathan Levy from 9 a.m. to noon in Crossroads North Middle School Gymnasium.
