SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — The South Brunswick Police Active Shooter Awareness Preparedness program has instructed more than 400 people in less than two weeks, the police department announced this week.
As Patch previously reported, the South Brunswick police department launched the first-of-its-kind training program on the one-year anniversary of Parkland: How to respond in an active-shooter situation.
“The response to the program is tremendous. Our hope is that every business, house of worship, and community group asks us to come present this training,” said Chief Raymond Hayducka.
