South Brunswick Police Launch 'Operation Safe Schools' As Classes Resume
Officers will be stationed at every school daily as part of the department's back-to-school safety initiative.
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Students in South Brunswick School District returned to their classrooms on Thursday. And the local police department is supporting the school community to ensure they have a safe start to the year.
The South Brunswick Police Department is bringing renewed focus on student safety in and around schools through ‘Operation Safe Schools.”
As part of "Operation Safe Schools," officers will be present at every school each day to support students, staff and families and help ensure a safe environment, according to the department.
