South Brunswick Police Raid Spa Acting As Front For Prostitution: Police

Two were charged with promoting prostitution, police said.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ— South Brunswick police arrested two following the raid of a local spa that was acting as a cover for a prostitution ring, they announced Monday morning.

A tip in August set off a three month investigation into Asian Pearly Spa on Route 130. Police say their surveillance showed that some workers were taking busses in and out of New York City, and that the business was being used to cover up prostitution.

Police searched the building on a warrant on Nov. 16, shutting down the business and seizing a 2010 Lexus, a flat screen TV, assorted office items, and $823 in cash.
