SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Officers and residents gathered over pizza last week for the seventh annual 'Pizza with Police,' a community event designed to build trust between the South Brunswick Police Department and the people it serves.

The event was held Feb. 21 at Giuseppe's Pizzeria in Dayton, drawing neighbors and officers together in an informal setting that has become a local tradition since Sgt. Sal Fama launched it in 2020.

"We launched Pizza with Police to bring our community and law enforcement together in a positive, approachable way. Six years later, it continues to build trust and connection — everyone working together to foster meaningful relationships and create a stronger community," Fama said.
