A South Brunswick Resident Took This Photo Of A Local Police Officer Safely Retrieving A Dog That Ran Under His Car
Officer Oscar Ayala "stopped the patrol car just in time,'' as the dog ran under it, police said. The dog was not injured.

A South Brunswick resident took this photo of a local police officer safely pulling a Dachshund out from underneath a patrol car this weekend.
South Brunswick police shared the photo on their Twitter page.
The little dog ran into the street from a yard on New Road, near Wheeler Road, around 10 a.m. Saturday, said Lt. James Ryan.

Officer Oscar Ayala “stopped the patrol car just in time,’’ as the dog ran under it, police said.
The dog was not injured. Ayala pulled the dog out, and returned it to its owner, police said.
