Three Projected Winners In South Brunswick School Board Race

It appears Joyce Mehta (incumbent), Joseph Scaletti and Ray Kuehner are the unofficial winners of the South Brunswick school board race.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — It appears Joyce Mehta (incumbent), Joseph Scaletti and Ray Kuehner are the unofficial winners of the South Brunswick school board race.

Azra Baig, who currently sits on the school board, did not win re-election tonight, according to unofficial results. Mehta also sits on the board and she was re-elected to her seat.

The following candidates are seeking three-year terms on the South Brunswick Board of Education. Three will win Tuesday night:

  • Joyce Mehta (projected winner): 2,397 votes
  • Joseph Scaletti (projected winner): 2,509 votes
  • Ray Kuehner (projected winner): 2,306 votes
  • Azra Baig: 1,655 votes

This is as of 10 p.m. with all but two of the voting districts reporting.
