Courteney Campbell broke a 30-year record for high jump.

South Brunswick, NJ - Courteney Campbell, an 11th grader at South Brunswick High School, broke the school’s 30-year record for high jump on Monday.

The record was 5-4, set in 1985 by Joanne Hampstead. But Campbell cleared 5-5 on Monday at the Coach Glynn Holiday Relay Carnival in Staten Island.

That’s Courteney above, all smiles, after breaking the record, in a photo taken by the head coach of girls’ varsity track, Mr. Moorhead. Congratulations, Courteney!!
