South Brunswick: Teen Girls Slashed Tires, Threatened Another On Snapchat, Police Say

They slashed tires in Brunswick Acres and Royal Oaks, police said, and threatened another teen on Snapchat.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Two teenage girls, ages 15 and 14, have been arrested and charged by South Brunswick police for a range of crimes earlier this month in the Township. The crimes ranged from taking someone's car without consent to slashing tires on three different cars, police said. The teen girls were also charged with cyber harassment for threatening another teenager via Snapchat.

All the crimes took place in the week of Sunday, July 2 through Saturday, July 8. The tire slashings occurred in the Brunswick Acres development and Royal Oaks apartment complex over the July 4 holiday.

The final incident took place on July 8, when patrol officers stopped the teenagers while they were driving down Wynwood Drive. The teenagers had taken the car they were in without the owner’s consent, police said.
