South Brunswick Traffic Lights Out Along Rt. 1

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - As of Thursday around 1 p.m., an accident knocked out power to several traffic lights on Rt. 1 and nearby businesses and homes. There are multiple traffic signals not functioning along the Rt. 1 corridor in South Brunswick due to an accident, police announced. Specifically, traffic signals on Rt. 1 between Independence Way and New Rd. are all out.

PSE&G has been notified and will be responding for repairs. Use alternate routes if possible, use caution at non-functioning signals, police said.
