South Brunswick Woman Found Dead In Her Home

A 42-year-old South Brunswick woman was found dead in her family's home Friday night. Police do not consider it foul play.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — A 42-year-old South Brunswick woman was found dead in her family's home Friday night and — despite speculation stirring through the community to the contrary — her death is not considered foul play, said police.

South Brunswick police received a 911 call at 11:44 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9 from a family member reporting an unresponsive woman on Bayberry Court. Officers arrived within minutes and began life-saving efforts. Paramedics arrived and pronounced Menga Ramos, 42, deceased at 12:07 a.m.

The Middlesex County Medical Examiners Office responded to the scene and conducted an autopsy on Saturday.

The death is considered non suspicious and the final cause of death is pending toxicology results.
