St. Augustine Of Canterbury School Advances to Odyssey of the Mind State Finals
Local Blue Ribbon School sends three teams to Odyssey of the Mind State Finals in April
St. Augustine of Canterbury School in Kendall Park, NJ, competed in the Lighthouse Regional Tournament of the Odyssey of the Mind Competition on Saturday, March 11 in Pennington, NJ. Odyssey of the Mind is an international educational program that provides creative problem-solving opportunities for students from kindergarten through college. Team members apply their ingenuity and creativity to solve problems that range from building mechanical devices to presenting their own interpretation of literary classics. They then bring their solutions to competition on the regional, state, and World level. Thousands of teams from throughout the U.S. and about 25 other countries from around the world participate in the program. Three of the teams from St. Augustine of Canterbury School (2016 National Blue Ribbon School) will now compete in the State Finals to be held on April 8, at Ewing High School.
