St. Augustine of Canterbury School to Compete at Iowa State

4th and 8th graders at St. Augustine of Canterbury School in Kendall Park will compete in a unique global academic competition.

South Brunswick, NJ - Two teams at St. Augustine of Canterbury School in Kendall Park will be advancing to the world finals for a competition called the Odyssey of the Mind.

This unique competition will be held at Iowa State University from May 25 to May 28 this spring.

What is Odyssey of the Mind? Created by a professor a Rowan University, he wanted to challenge his students to come up with a solution to problems in the most creative way. Held every year at either Michigan State University or Iowa State, schools and community centers develop teams where children are asked to "think outside the box."
