Stretch Of Route 27 In South Brunswick Closed All Weekend

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ-- Due to last minute construction, a 2.2 mile stretch of Route 27 in South Brunswick will be closed the entire weekend.

Route 27 will be closed between Route 518 and Promenade Blvd, beginning 9:00 PM Friday night and going until 6:00 AM Monday morning.

The Route 27 project will entail the construction of a temporary bridge ahead of a scheduled drainage project to begin later this fall.

Detours will be posted, but drives should plan alternate routes and expect delays.
