Suspect Arrested In South Brunswick Convenience Store Robbery
A man who police say robbed the Stop & Go food store on Allston Road in October was arrested Feb. 14 at his home in Willingboro.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — A man who police say robbed the Stop & Go food store on Allston Road this past October was arrested Thursday, Feb. 14. A second suspect, however, remains at large.
Jahmir Boyd-Ashley, 22, has been charged in a rash of commercial and residential burglaries throughout New Jersey and Pennsylania. He was arrested by New Jersey State Police last Thursday at his home in Willingboro. They did not elaborate about the other alleged robberies, but did say that police departments in Cinnaminson, Willingboro, Maple Shade, Burlington Township, Edgewater Park and Mount Laurel have all been working to effectuate his arrest.

South Brunswick police say the store was broken into at 4:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 9. When police arrived on the scene for a 911 call of the burglar alarm going off, the front glass door had been smashed with a brick.
Cash, scratch-off lottery tickets, cigarettes, cigars and money orders had been stolen. Surveillance footage showed two individuals wearing masks and gloves. Additional surveillance footage also showed a green coupe driving in the area of the Stop & Go.

A bit later that same day, some of the stolen cash from the store was found in the driveway of a home near Rt. 130 in Bordentown Township. The homeowner who found it called 911.

Boyd-Ashley has been charged with multiple counts of burglary, theft, credit card theft, criminal mischief, and conspiracy, as well as being a fugitive from justice.
He has been lodged in the Burlington County Jail pending a court hearing.
