Suspect Sketch Released In D&R Canal Park Sexual Assault
Anyone with information or surveillance footage of the area is asked to contact authorities.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Authorities released a sketch of the suspect in the sexual assault of a woman in the area of Delaware and Raritan Canal State Park on the border of Plainsboro and South Brunswick.
Authorities are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the individual, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said.
Ciccone, along with Chief Raymond Hayducka of the South Brunswick Police Department and Chief Fred Tavener of the Plainsboro Police Department, announced their departments are jointly investigating the aggravated sexual assault.

According to the joint investigation, on Sept. 28, between 4:30 p.m. and 5 p.m., a woman was walking on a path adjacent to the canal where she was approached by a man and moved to a secondary location on gunpoint, where she was sexually assaulted.
Authorities said the suspect is approximately 5’5” – 5’6” tall, wearing dark-colored clothing and a dark baseball cap.
