The concert, at the Updike Farmstead on Quaker Road, will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a down home menu by Main Street Fine Catering. Actor Kevin Bacon and Michael Bacon, an Emmy-winning composer for film and television, formed The Bacon Brothers in 1995. Their trademark sound builds on history of playing music together as they came of age in Philadelphia: gritty rock with a touch of Philly soul. Working with the same crew of musicians since their formation, The Bacon Brothers have released six albums, the first in 1997 and the latest in 2011.
