The South Brunswick Public Library Evening Book Discussion Group for Adults meets on the first Monday of every month in the Local History Room; follow the signs in the library to find this meeting room or ask at the Information Desk. Check the list of books on the library's website to find out what the group is reading now and what titles will be coming up in the future.

Once again this year, the township will be combining National Night Out with the Charlene J. Austin Community Unity Day event, which gives dozens of township organizations the opportunity to share information on their services and programs, while displaying the healthy activities they provide to help prevent alcohol, tobacco and drug use. As part of the celebration, police will be offering free hot dogs, chips, popcorn, soda and ice pops. There will also be plenty of games, music and displays by local first responders.

On Aug. 8 at 10:45 a.m., the South Brunswick Senior Center will present a lecture on Common Foot and Ankle Problems in Older Adults. This lecture will be presented by TwinBoro Rehab Center. Foot and ankle pain can impede your best quality of life. Please join us for this informative lecture and learn how to reduce your risk. This lecture is free and open to South Brunswick residents 55 and older only.
