Theft From Two South Brunswick Post Office Mailboxes
The post office mailboxes that were hit are the Dayton Post Office (347 Georges Road) and the Monmouth Junction Post Office (651 Ridge Road)

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — A pair of thieves pried their way into two post office mailboxes in South Brunswick on Sunday, Dec. 1 and stole mail, say police.
The post office mailboxes that were hit are the Dayton Post Office (347 Georges Road) and the Monmouth Junction Post Office (651 Ridge Road), say police.
At 6:39 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 1, police were called to the Dayton post office for a possible theft in progress. Officers searched the area for any suspects and discovered the mailbox had been pried open and several letters were still inside.

A witness told Officer Kent English that two individuals were observed walking around the post office attempting to make entry. They were later seen leaving the area northbound on Georges Road in an older model white car.
Then at 9:58 a.m. Officer Aaron Parks responded to the Monmouth Junction Post Office for an additional damaged mailbox. A check of the area uncovered that the front mailbox was also pried open and empty. A witness said he saw a white sedan in area at 4:00 a.m.
