Truck Overturns On NJ Turnpike, Spills Paint & Closes Lanes

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — A tractor-trailer overturned early Friday morning, spilling paint and blocking lanes on the New Jersey Turnpike in Monroe Township.

The incident happened around 7 a.m. at the outer roadway northbound entrance ramp at Exit 8A. The truck lanes have been shut down due to the incident and traffic is being diverted to northbound inner roadways.

There's no effect on mainline traffic, but traffic might be slow in some areas. Hazmat crews are currently working to clear the site of the crash.
