Tuesday Storm Topples Trees, Floods Rt. 18 In Middlesex County

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — The lingering thunderstorms that moved into the area Tuesday afternoon and into the evening toppled trees onto cars in South Brunswick. Intense rain also flooded the Rt. 18 south ramp from George Street in New Brunswick, which was closed for several hours during Tuesday's rush hour.
