Two Different DWI Arrests In Same Day In South Brunswick
A man was charged with DWI at the Valero gas station on Rt. 130 last Wednesday, and a man was arrested on Major Road later that same day.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — People were arrested for drunk driving in two separate occasions last Wednesday, May 30 in South Brunswick Township, police said.
The first alleged drunk driving occurred at the Valero gas station on Rt. 130 at 10:30 a.m. last Wednesday. Police were called there for a report of a dispute. There, they found a man and a woman in blue pick-up truck.
The couple was Jorge Arteaga-Santiago, 53, and Stacey Tucker, 45, both from Robbinsville. The couple each initially gave the officer false names, police said, and police said Arteaga-Santiago appeared to be intoxicated while speaking with him.

Arteaga-Santiago told officers that he last drank three beers on Memorial Day, which was two days prior. But he then failed several field sobriety tests, police said. Arteaga-Santiago was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, hindering his own apprehension for providing false information, and issued numerous motor vehicle summonses. The woman was arrested for hindering her own apprehension, for providing false information and for two previous warrants for her arrest out of East Windsor Township.
Later that same day, at 8:54 p.m., South Brunswick police responded to a crash on Major Road. They found a 2013 grey Ford Focus off the roadway after it collided with a fire hydrant.

Stanley Allen Jr, 27, of North Brunswick and Alexander Allen, 26, of Monmouth Junction, were standing directly across the road from the crashed vehicle. Both men appeared to be intoxicated while speaking with the officer, police said, and initially told him a third man was driving the vehicle, who fled from the scene after the crash.
After several minutes Stanley Allen changed his initial account to say he was driving the car, police said. Officers pieced together the travel route of the vehicle prior to the crash and located surveillance video that showed Alexander Allen as the driver, police said. Alexander Allen admitted to being the driver after confronted with the video surveillance, police said.
Alexander Allen was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and Stanley Allen, Jr. was charged with hindering his own apprehension.
