The Kingston Presbyterian Church on Rt. 27 invited local Muslims to attend their services Sunday.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - The Kingston Presbyterian Church on Rt. 27 in South Brunswick invited local Muslims to attend their services Sunday to begin Lent.
Pastor Rev. Sharyl Dixon said her church extended the invitation to Muslims just two days after President Donald Trump passed his now-stalled immigration ban in January. The Kingston Presbyterian Church stands in solidarity with the Islamic Society of Central Jersey, Rev. Dixon said.
"This congregation’s support, and the support of the Christian and interfaith community has meant a lot to Muslims, especially this past year and in the last couple of months," said South Brunswick Muslim resident Azra Baig. "Just two days after the executive order on immigration, members from this church and Reverend Dixon were at Islamic Society of Central Jersey ... standing united in solidarity with the Muslim community."
