Vikings Black U-14 Softball Team Steadily Improving
Last game the best one of season for Vikings

While the South Brunswick Vikings Black U-14 travel softball team hasn't quite hit its peak yet, the team is getting closer and enjoying the climb up.
"We have a lot of first-year players, but the girls play their hearts out," noted Joe Borke, the coach of the squad.
South Brunswick played in a tournament this past weekend and went 0-4. Borke took satisfaction in the way South Brunswick played its final game, though.

"(Sunday's) game we made it the whole six innings without being mercied (having the game stopped because one team trailed by too many runs) or time running out for the first time this year," Borke said.
According to Borke, Brienna Moriarity pitched the whole game and showed improved control. Jessica Quiones played third and made some fabulous plays. Christen Biondolillo played short and also made some good plays.

Brenna Fisher had another outstanding game as South Brunswick's catcher.
"She was given the player of the game award by the other team five times so far this season," Borke said.
The other members of this improving team are Meaghan Betz, Keilah Marvel, Jenn Borke, Sam Jorge, Rashi Topic, Brenna Williams and Rabecca Martinez.
