Oct. 16 the last day to register for Nov. 6 elections

Election Day is less than two months away — are you registered to vote in South Brunswick?

The deadline to register to vote in the Nov. 6 election is Oct. 16. Applications must be filled out for new voters and if you’ve moved or changed your name.

Register by mail

Print and fill out a Voter Application Form for Middlesex County. Mail the form to:

The state makes it easy — the application form can be mailed for free by following the folding and taping instructions.

Register in person

South Brunswick residents can pick up a registration form at the township clerk's office, located 540 Ridge Road in Monmouth Junction. For more information, call 732-329-4000.

The clerk's office website also provides a list of polling locations around the township, if you are unsure of the location of your polling site.

College students

College students are permitted to vote from their college address or their parents’ homes. They must file a new application if they’re not already registered where they choose to vote.

Rutgers University's RU Voting also provides information for Rutgers students who want to register.
