WATCH: Garbage Truck Catches Fire in South Brunswick

South Brunswick, NJ - The contents of a garbage truck caught fire Monday afternoon in the Kingston section of South Brunswick Township, South Brunswick police reported.
According to police, the trash inside the garbage truck caught fire. The quick-thinking driver of the truck pulled into the parking lot of the Princeton Walk clubhouse off Rt. 522 at 12:33 p.m. By dumping the burning material onto the pavement, he prevented his truck from igniting and possibly exploding.

The Kingston volunteer fire department responded. There were no injuries, no traffic delays and the cause of the fire was accidental. All images and video are provided by the South Brunswick police.
