Watch: In The Spirit of Jimmy Kimmel's "Mean Tweets" Segments, Rutgers Profs Read "Rate My Profesor" Reviews
Need a lighthearted video to break up your day? Check out Rutgers' spin on Jimmy Kimmel's "Mean Tweets."

A Rutgers political science professor “is a bro,’’ while a journalism professor is “your evil, wise-cracking, brainy uncle.”
These are among the comments about Rutgers instructors on Rate My Professors. And in the spirit of a Jimmy Kimmel’s “Mean Tweets,” segment, some of those Rutgers professors have made a video, reading those comments aloud.
“Steve is pretty much your evil, wise-cracking, brainy uncle you see once every other year,’’ according to one student’s rating of Steve Miller, who teaches Journalism and Media Studies at Rutgers.

“That’s pretty good,’’ he said. “I like that.”
Meanwhile, Political Science Professor Michael Rossi, says besides PhD and instructor, he can now add “bro,’’ to his list of titles at the school.

“He’s a bro. If you’re a bro and you know about bros, then you’ll like this teacher,’’ according to one of his reviews on the rating site.
Another student gave Art History Professor Susan Sidlauskus a positive rating, but it came with a warning, “she does grade papers somewhat like an english prof.”
And so, Sidlauskus, took a red pen to the rating and corrected some capitalization problems in the student’s review.
“I just want to point out, capital T in “the,” and English usually has a capital E,’’ she said.
