Week Of March 5: Extra South Brunswick Police On These Roads
If you cut through Mapleton Preserve during rush hour, or use the Rt. 1 shoulder during off hours, South Brunswick police will be watching.
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Starting Monday morning, March 5, extra South Brunswick patrols will be on the following roads this week, looking for the following violations:
Location: Ridge Road between Rt. 130/Georges Road
Issue: Overweight Trucks
Location: Rt. 1 Shoulder Use
Issue: Shoulder usage before and after posted hours of operation (the shoulder is only open during AM and PM rush hours)

Location: Mapleton Preserve
Issue: Dirt bikes and four wheelers riding on property. Vehicles cutting through property during rush hour
Location: Davidson Mill Road from Rt. 535/Middlsex Center Blvd.
Issue: Tractor Trailer Parking in Right Lane.

Police responded to these areas after getting resident complaints. There will be extra focus paid to those roads, and extra squad cars out.
