Widespread Manhunt For Possibly Dangerous NJ Fugitive (UPDATED)

Police say are looking for the possibly dangerous man after he essentially escaped.

A widespread manhunt is underway after a man escaped during a police investigation on Thursday, police said. Police say he's left the South Brunswick area and could be anywhere in the state.

Daimeir Nelson, 21, is going to be connected to a series of crimes, according to the South Brunswick police.

At the very least, Nelson will be charged with aggravated assault, police said.

Nelson is 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds. He was last seen wearing a light-blue T-shirt and dark pants, police said.

Officers have searching Georges Road, Route 522, Jeffery Circle and the Summerfield Development in the South Brunswick area.
