A ‘Wild West’ Celebration For South Brunswick Chabad This Purim
This year, Purim begins on the evening of March 16, and concludes at sundown on March 17.
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Purim is among the most joyous days on the Jewish calendar. And with COVID-19 cases on the decline in the area, the Chabad Jewish Center of South Brunswick is ready to celebrate Wild West style.
This year the theme for Chabad Jewish Center is Wild West. On March 17, attendees are invited to dress in their Wild West costume or something of their choice.
The evening will begin with a Megillah Reading (Book of Esther) at 5:30 p.m., followed by the Purim feast at 6 p.m., which will include the tri-cornered pastry, Hamantaschen.

The festivities will also include line dancing, a mechanical bull, and other children’s activities.
The Purim Festivities will be held at Pierre’s Ballroom, 582 Georges Road, Monmouth Junction.
