1. You begin to study for the final and you can write three things down on your review sheet without consulting the textbook.
2. You didn't need the textbook.
3. No one goes to the bathroom more than once per period.
4. No one goes to the bathroom because they don't want to miss a point.
4. You can go to the bathroom. Without waiting for a warrant.
5. You actually used your flashcards at least once, and that's not counting the time you got hand cramps making them.
6. You don't need flashcards because you learned how to understand concepts, not memorize gibberish.
7. The group projects assign fair grades based on each person's work and doesn't punish everyone for that one irresponsible person.
8. Or you get to choose your own partners.
9. Better yet, there are no group projects.
10. They were given a Smartboard, or some other impressive, expensive piece of technology, and didn't leave it gathering dust in a corner all year because they didn't learn its basic functions.
11. Looking back, you realize that without what you learned, you wouldn't be where you are today.
