Your Water May Look Discolored Next Week In South Brunswick. Here's Why

The township's annual water main flushing program begins March 23 and runs through mid-May.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — The South Brunswick Water Division will flush water mains beginning Monday, March 23, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily. The program is expected to last approximately eight weeks.

Residents are advised to minimize water use during those hours, as water may appear discolored. The discoloration will be temporary and will not affect water quality or safety, officials said. If discoloration occurs, run cold faucets until the water runs clear.

The flushing program does not include the portion of Kingston served by New Jersey American Water.
