South Orange To Host National Night Out Next Month

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — The Village of South Orange and the South Orange Police Department will host National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 4, beginning at 5 p.m. at Flood's Hill.

The free community event will feature food, a dunk tank, inflatables, games, popcorn, giveaways and a meet-and-greet with first responders. The evening will conclude with an outdoor screening of "The Bad Guys 2" at approximately 8 p.m.

National Night Out is an annual event designed to strengthen relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve while promoting neighborhood safety and community engagement. The event is open to the public.
