CC Minton to Headline Fireside Chat at Tory Burch Boutique, Short Hills Mall — Strengthening Community Connections Across Millburn, Short Hills, and Local Cultural Partners
Millburn, NJ

Gregory Burrus Productions is pleased to spotlight an upcoming community‑focused event featuring civic leader CC Minton, who will appear for a fireside chat at the Tory Burch Boutique in the Short Hills Mall on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 6–8 PM.

Hosted in partnership with the Junior League of the Oranges and Short Hills (JLOSH), the evening will explore women's leadership, community service, and the League's long history of strengthening families and neighborhoods across Essex County. Minton will be joined by Sara Thom for a conversation centered on civic engagement and collaborative leadership.
A Moment of Connection for Millburn's Civic and Cultural Life.

This event arrives at a time when Millburn's civic, cultural, and community institutions are increasingly working in alignment. Just steps from the heart of downtown Millburn, Mt. Zion AME Church continues to expand its role as a cultural anchor through programs like Jesus & Jazz, a worship‑arts series that blends music, culture, and community uplift.

As a producer of Jesus & Jazz and other community‑driven arts initiatives, I've seen how Millburn's civic organizations, cultural partners, and faith‑based institutions can collaborate to create meaningful impact. CC Minton's fireside chat represents another opportunity for these worlds to intersect in service of the broader community.

A Note from Gregory Burrus

"As we continue building cultural and community programming at Mt. Zion AME — including our Jesus & Jazz series — it's inspiring to see leaders like CC Minton bringing conversations about service, empowerment, and civic engagement to the Short Hills Mall. These are the kinds of connections that strengthen Millburn and create new pathways for collaboration."
