SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — South Orange Village residents will have a chance to meet their neighbors and discover more about the community when South Orange Community Day returns Saturday, Sept. 19.
The event will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Skate House in Meadowland Park, near Mead Street and the Duck Pond area.
Residents can connect with local organizations, speak with village departments and elected officials, and learn about resources available around town. Live music, family activities, inflatables and refreshments are also planned.
"Come discover all that makes South Orange such a special place," the village said in its event announcement.
The Community Relations Committee, which is organizing the gathering, has planned an afternoon centered on family-friendly activities and community connections.
"Let's celebrate the people, organizations and community spirit that make South Orange home," the village said.
The event will be held rain or shine, with no rain date scheduled. Additional information and future updates can be found on the village's official Community Day event page.
