SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — Mark your calendars: South Orange Downtown is inviting families to welcome fall with "free fall-themed fun for the whole family" at its Fall Fest on Sunday, Sept. 27.
According to the official South Orange Downtown Fall Fest listing, the event will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Spiotta Park. Children can join pumpkin decorating, seasonal crafts, games and more activities from downtown businesses.
The South Orange Public Library will host storytimes every 30 minutes beginning at 11:30 a.m. DJ Lou will provide upbeat music throughout the event, the listing says.
Oh! Canary, Artistry by Ampy Salon, Cute As New and The Art Boutique are listed as participating businesses. The page says each will bring something "creative and hands-on" to the park.

Fall Fest is included in Downtown on Display, which the event page describes as celebrating local businesses with "unique events."
