SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — Have an extra winter coat? The South Orange Police Department and PBA Local 12 are collecting coats for adults and children through Oct. 13.

The department encouraged residents to contribute, saying, "Your generosity can make a difference. Help us bring warmth and comfort to our neighbors this winter!"

Donated coats will be distributed Sunday, Oct. 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Irvington Avenue and Ward Place.
