SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — Looking for something to do Friday evening? South Orange Downtown is inviting residents to shop, explore local businesses and win prizes during its upcoming Hats Off to Downtown shopping crawl.
The free event runs Friday, Oct. 16, from 5 to 8 p.m., featuring exclusive discounts, giveaways, tastings, restaurant specials and music from DJ Phillip Lee.
Participants should start at The Co-Lab, 57 South Orange Avenue, to collect an event passport and tokens.
Shoppers can drop tokens at participating businesses for chances to win raffle prizes. No purchase is required.
There is also a Best Hat Contest, with prizes awarded for Most Creative Hat, Crowd Favorite and Best Group or Duo Theme.
The event welcomes all ages, and registration is recommended.
