SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — Halloween celebrations aren't just for kids. South Orange residents can dress up for an adults-only party this weekend.
The South Orange-Maplewood Adult School and The Brand New Steadys are presenting Monster Bawl on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. at The Baird Center, 5 Mead Street.
The "frightfully fun" event will feature live music by Emotional Rex, dancing, festive drinks and snacks, and a costume contest with "hilariously tasteless" trophies.
Admission is restricted to adults ages 21 and older.
Tickets cost $55 in advance or $65 at the door, according to South Orange Downtown.
